Hype. This reminds me of the theory, that I discovered researching my post on The Eames’ “Power Of Ten”, of self-similarity; basically that “the whole has the same shape as one or more of the parts.” In “Drone”, Andreas Fischer has created a brief but brilliant glimpse of what could be a cell, or a planet, or a galvanizing star. Series of self-similar spheres, both miniscule and gargantuan, repeating themselves endlessly through all scales and sizes of our existence.
