UK artist Chris O’Shea, in collaboration with Cinimod Studio, created “Beacon”, a geometric array of emergency lights laid out on the installation’s floor. Using a custom designed computer system and thermal imaging cameras, the beacons detect people’s placement in the room and move in tandem with their bodies.
If you’re into this, you’ll probably also like the kinetic architectural installation of Rafael Lozano-Hemmer and also check out Fabric’s “Perpetual Sunshine.”
